rookie Review 

What we liked: The young southpaw stands out with a 6-foot-1, 180 Lb. athletic build that has strength through out the delivery. The lower half is strong as he sits into the back side while striding down the mound creating pelvic & shoulder tilt before finishing with intent over the post leg. The hand pushes straight down out of the glove before getting up to a natural 3/4 slot with some whip through release. The FB is heavy sitting 81-82 with a top of 83 MPH; mainly working down with arm side run up to 17.6". The change up has the profile to be a + pitch with a 10-11 MPH differential and arm side fade of 14". Weston showed some feel in the zone with a developing breaking ball that has a shorter break.
