Top Performer Spotlight: 2021 MIF Logan Haskell (Susquehanna Valley)

Dan Cevette
President, New York

Since last June, our boot-on-the-ground scouting team have seen 700+ players at showcase events, including the 2019 NYS Games. Already, 100's upon 100's of players have caught the eyes of our professional scouting staff, all with dreams of playing baseball at the next-level. Over the next few months we will be highlighting "Top Performer Spotlights" on players who really stood-out and offering "Quick-Hit" thoughts on the players.

PLAYER

Logan Haskell SS / 2B / Susquehanna Valley , NY / 2021

Cevette's Quick Hit: Haskell stands 5-foot-10, 160-pounds with an athletic frame evidenced by his 6.93 60-yard dash. Physical, hard-nosed competitor on the field with clear signs of more strength potential as he continues to develop. In the box I like his simple, relaxed approach. Slight leg-lift during the pitch for timing with a direct barrel path to the ball, generates above average bat-speed, especially to his pull-side. Defensively he's still raw with his actions but the athleticism is present and the fast-twitch he has will help him smooth out more over the next few seasons. We are fired up to see where his progress has taken him this winter during our February "Preseason All-State Tour".
