New York Scout Blog: Top Performers Week 2

Each week our boots on the ground scouting staff works hard to canvas the state.  In doing so we like to highlight not only the players we've seen previously at events or tournaments but also like to look for hidden gems that we may not have known about. Early each week our scouting blog is posted and by the weeks end we'll highlight five of the performances that stuck with us and deserve notice.

+ Senior With Added Velocity May Generate MLB Buzz Down The Road

Frank the 6-foot, 200-pound senior Canisius College commit dominated on the mound again. This is the second week in a row we’ve seen his start and he continues to show good command of both his FB and CB. His velo was 86-89 and even touched a 91 early on.  Through 5 innings he struck out 12, many times with his sharp 73-mph breaking ball.
