OUTLOOK:  

In 2014, Sparta Highland will look to win their fifth consecutive conference title in a row, which would mean ownership of eight of the last ten titles. Expectations are high due to a strong junior class lead by LHP/1B Dalton Stambaugh (1st Team All-League and Honorable Mention Central District), RHP/IF Jett Swetland (1st Team All-League and 2nd Team Central District), and RHP/3B Byron Belcher (2nd Team All-League and Honorable Mention Central District). Meanwhile, senior Marcus Chapman, a three year letter winner, will be counted on behind the plate to handle a talented pitching staff.
