OUTLOOK:  

Van Buren should be one of the top teams in the Blanchard Valley Conference. Although they lost four starters from a squad that won 18 games a year ago, a solid junior class should make the Black Knights a front runner to capture the conference championship. The Black Knights will be lead by star outfielder Ross Adolph, who led the team last year with a .478 batting average along with 22 extra base hits, 7 of them being homeruns. Junior RHP Jamison Jacobs, who won seven games last season with an ERA under 2.00, will be the ace on the mound.  Other returning letter winners will be Isaac Sexton, Drew Connor, Chance Sonnenburg, Corey Spoon, and Schyler.
