Strengths of Team:

  • Return many starters off of a young team from last season
  • Return middle IFs for the 3rd year in a row
  • Pitching is deep with 7-8 capable pitchers

Weaknesses of Team:

  • Replacing our catcher who started for 3 seasons
  • Losing Dalton Rutter who was career .415 hitter

Top Prospects in Class of 2016:

  • Dustin Redish, SS/P, Junior, 5'11''- 165 LBS, B-T Right, competed in crossroads series this past summer and was selected to play in Indiana event.
  • Giovanni Rocchi, 3rd/P, Junior, 6'- 165 LBS, B-T Right. Hit .320 as a sophomore last season, complete game no hitter against St. Clairsville.

Top Prospects in Class of 2017:

  • Tyler Redish, C, Sophomore, 6', 175 LBS, B-T Right. Tyler was backup catcher last season and started 5 games. 6-7 throwing runners out last season as a freshman. Younger brother of Dustin. Strong arm and big pop at the plate.
