With the 2016 spring season right around the corner, PBR Ohio is eagerly anticipating bringing the Buckeye state the best high school coverage throughout the entire state.

Starting February 1st, we began releasing team previews for teams across the state, leading into the Preseason All-State Teams as well as the Preseason State Rankings.

2016 Spring Team Preview: Cuyahoga Heights Redskins

Team Name: Cuyahoga Heights Redskins
Head Coach: Marc Lowther
Division: IV
2015 Record: 16-9
Conference Record: CVC, 5-3
Returning Starters/Pitchers: 7/4

2016 Team Strengths:

• Pitching
• Experience

2016 Team Weaknesses:

• Two out hits
• Depth in the field

Coach Outlook: "We have seven returning starters back and all four starting pitchers coming back. The key is going to be to stay healthy and hope that last year's loss in regionals is the driving force for this season. We also need to be more consistent hitting in key situations, and to tighten up our defense."

PBR Outlook: The Redskins and head coach Marc Lowther are returning an experienced squad after a 16-9 2015 campaign. With ace Aaron Kucia and the rest of the pitching staff, we expect Cuyahoga Heights to be a factor all season in Division IV.
