2016 Spring Team Preview: Hicksville Aces

Team Name: Hicksville Aces
Head Coach: Tim Shock
Division: IV
2015 Record: 19-11
Conference Record: GMC, 4-3
Returning Starters/Pitchers: 6/3

2016 Team Strengths:

  • Starting pitching
  • Defense

2016 Team Weaknesses:

  • Need to find ways to manufacture runs at times

Jacob GreerCoach Outlook: "Core of the team is back, including top two pitchers. We will need to replace a few guys but have good nucleus back to make another possible run. The league will once again be very strong which will help make us tournament ready."

PBR Outlook: The Aces return the core of a team that advanced to Columbus a season ago. With the 1A/1B punch of Jake Greer (pictured right) and Wes Perry to go along with a solid defense and timely hitting, the Aces have a legitimate chance to make a return trip to Huntington Park. Hicksville will be in the top 10 for Ohio's Division IV Preseason Team Power Rankings.
