With the 2017 spring season right around the corner, PBR Ohio is eagerly anticipating bringing the Buckeye state the best high school coverage throughout the entire state.
Starting in Mid-January, we began releasing team previews for teams across the state, leading into the Preseason All-State Teams as well as the Preseason State Rankings.

2017 Spring Team Preview: Lima Central Catholic T-Birds
Team Name: Lima Central Catholic
Head Coach: John Schnieders
Division: III
2016 Record: 11-13
Conference Record: MAC
Returning Starters/Pitchers: 7/5
2017 Team Strengths:
- Pitching
- Infield Defense
2017 Team Weaknesses:
- Speed
- Situational Hitting
Coach Outlook: "We've been playing young players the last couple of years, and now the roster is comprised of juniors and seniors with some experience. We hope to continue to make strides to be competitive with elite teams."
PBR Outlook: The T-Birds and coach Schnieders have been a young team over the past couple seasons. In 2017, they look for those rebuilding years to provide what could be a nice campaign for LCC. Interested to see how they perform this year..
