Many players impressed during their individual workouts at the showcase. Scouting Report: A high upside arm in the 2020 class who should be a high follow for college programs. Impressed with stuff and pitchablity. Arm is clean and arm strength is apparent as the ball comes out well with little effort. Fastball will show regular run, sitting 80-83 mph. Offers a breaking ball and changeup for his secondary arsenal. Changeup was very impressive, displaying late action with a fastball look out of the hand. Consistently was able to keep the pitch in the zone at 73-76 mph. Also spins an 11/5 shaped breaking ball with developing depth at 64-68 mph. |
