We would like to thank all who participated in PBR Ohio's 2019 Top Prospect Games. This was a great opportunity for the class of 2020-2022 prospects to be put on college radars. Many players impressed during their individual workouts at the showcase.

2019 Top Prospect Games - Top Breaking Balls: These Guys Can Spin It

Zachary Byron LHP / Milford, OH / 2020

Report: The Midland coaching staff will be fielding multiple calls from college coaches after Byron’s performance. Works from stretch. Very smooth, varies tempo, everything works. One of the higher spin rate guys of the day, making his velocity play up. One of those fastballs you can hear, hissing through the zone at 82-85 mph. The Milford product spun not one but two of the top breaking balls we saw on the day, according to the naked eye and Rapsodo. The slider came in at 74-77 mph and the curve was 71-72 mph, both breakers making some of the best hitters in the state look baffled.
