Vs Team Michigan

Pitchers

Trey Deitelbaum RHP / OF / Joseph A. Foran, CT / 2022

Report: A right-handed pitcher, smaller, strong frame, showing a quick arm, working from a ¾ slot, fastball sat at 82-86 mph, 1/7 break on curveballs, clocked at 71-72 mph. Looks to work quick, attacks and is aggressive, controls the running game. Look for the velocity to continue to climb, could be a weapon out of the bullpen.

Benjamin Rabatin RHP / SS / Normandy, OH / 2023

Report: A right-handed pitcher, 3-pitch mixer, clean arm on the back side, easy repeatable delivery, fastball reached 86 mph, with arm side action to it. The change up is his top pitch, great hand speed, sells it well, multiple swing and misses, left-handers rolling it over. Only a 2023, major pitchability, going to be a good one.

Evan Maloney RHP / OF / North Kingstown, RI / 2022

Report: A right-handed pitcher, threw three scoreless innings, mixing three pitches, fastball reached 84 mph, change up is a legit out pitch, recording multiple outs. The delivery is quick, building momentum down the mound, gets extension out front on release. Pitched three innings and was in complete control.

Corbin Berard RHP / 3B / Bishop Hendricken, RI / 2022

Report: A right-handed pitcher, working from lower slot, mixing pitches and creating deception. The fastball reached 83 mph, mixing in two secondary pitches, slider at 69-71 mph and the changeup at 75 mph. Works quick, pounding the zone to both sides. The slot might be able to go even lower, while keeping the velocity where its at.

Position Players

Greg Gorman 1B / OF / Westerly, RI / 2022

Report: A monster left-handed, collected two hits, one being a monster home run to dead center. The swing level to up, creates a ton of backspin, middle to poolside approach. Chance to hit with some serious power, runs well for a bigger kid, with good arm strength, brings value being able to play both 1st and the outfield.

Michael Coyne SS / 2B / Fairfield Prep, CT / 2022

Report: A right-handed hitting middle infielder, controlled the middle of the field on both sides of the bag, showing good flow and quickness to the glove side, able to make all throws from different arm angles, showing an average arm. At the plate, more of a contact, line drive hitter, will need to add strength.
