With 2024 now in the past, Prep Baseball Ohio is eagerly anticipating bringing the Buckeye state the best high school coverage that can be found anywhere in 2025. Starting in February, we began releasing team previews for squads across the state. Ahead, we will have Preseason All-State Teams as well as the Preseason State Rankings coming your way.

2025 Spring Team Preview: Fairfield Union Falcons

Team Name: Fairfield Union Falcons
Head Coach: Scott Burke
Division: IV
2024 Record: 13-15
2024 Tourney Finish: District Semifinals loss to Washington Courthouse
Returning Starters/Pitchers: 6/3

Coach Outlook: "The Falcons will look to challenge for a league title behind an experienced senior class. The team started strong in 2024 but suffered injuries to two key players mid way though the season. The hitting must improve this year, cutting down on strikeouts and focus on putting the ball in play hard somewhere. The Falcons will also look to take advantage of above average team speed to put pressure on the opposing defense."

2025 Team Strengths:

  • The Falcons will strong up the middle with depth on the mound, behind the plate, SS and center field. The team worked extremely hard on defense last year and hope to see the benefits in 2025.

  • Brady Andrews, C/INF 2026, 5-9/170 R/R caught 90% of the innings last year .308 avg 
  • Garrett Dilcher CF / RHP 2026 5-11 165 L/R .280 avg
  • Chase Harmon DH/3B 2025 Signed to play at UNOH .218 AVG. 
  • Micha Hartman SS/ RHP 2025 5-10 165 23 innings 6 BB 21 K
  • Jacob Forson RHP/3B 6-0 195 48 innings 9BB 48 K
