With 2024 now in the past, Prep Baseball Ohio is eagerly anticipating bringing the Buckeye state the best high school coverage that can be found anywhere in 2025. 2025 Spring Team Preview: Maumee Panthers

Team Name: Maumee Panthers
Head Coach: Todd Ery
Division: III
2024 Record: 18-10
2024 Tourney Finish: District Semifinals loss to Defiance
Returning Starters/Pitchers: 3/2

Coach Outlook: "We are coming off of our best regular season in over a decade, but will have many holes to fill, as we've graduated 23 players over the last two seasons. We do have a strong nucleus of 2-3 guys that have experienced success last season. Now the question will be if we can find players in our program ready to make the leap and successfully compete at the varsity level."

  • Ben Kubicz, OF/LHP, 2026. Last year - .452 AVG, 8 2B, 3 3B, 21 RBI, 27 R, 9 SB. 6-3, 1.76 ERA, 52 K, 20 BB.
  • Carter Koepfler, OF, 2025. Last year - .267 AVG, 4 2B, 2 3B, 11 RBI, 21 R, 10 SB.
  • Will Kubicz, 3B/OF, 2026. Last year - .333, 3 2B, 13 RBI, 12 R, 8 SB.
  • Max Biernacki, 1B/LHP, 2025. Last year - 3-2, 2.85 ERA, 33 K, 27 BB.
