With 2024 now in the past, Prep Baseball Ohio is eagerly anticipating bringing the Buckeye state the best high school coverage that can be found anywhere in 2025. 2025 Spring Team Preview: Padua Franciscan Bruins

Team Name: Padua Franciscan Bruins

2024 Record: 19-10-1
2024 Tourney Finish: State Semifinals loss to Badin
Returning Starters/Pitchers: 5/6

Coach Outlook: "I believe we have a great group of players returning from the 2024 team. This team has been a very motivated this offseason. Any time you finish the previous season the where we did, it raises the expectation of the group but also has brought a different sense of urgency. You can see it in the work in this team puts in weight room and offseason work. That being said his is a completely different season with different challenges and a lot of work to do ahead. There are still some questions we need to answer in the lineup to fill positions we lost to graduation, but when you have 5 of your 9 starters returning, with key role players, along with 6 pitchers that accounted for majority of the innings last season, there is definitely an excitement about what the season can hold with that."
