With 2024 now in the past, Prep Baseball Ohio is eagerly anticipating bringing the Buckeye state the best high school coverage that can be found anywhere in 2025. 2025 Spring Team Preview: Tiffin Calvert Senecas

Team Name: Tiffin Calvert Senecas

Division: VII
2024 Record: 23-7
2024 Tourney Finish: Regional Semifinals loss to Warren JFK
Returning Starters/Pitchers: 7/5

Coach Outlook: "We are excited to embark on a new season and to get a little bit better each day. We have good numbers despite only having one senior and we know what we need to improve on to reach our goals. We will not be overly-result focused, but more so improving our approach to the little things, consistently grinding at-bats and throwing strikes. Being eliminated the last two years late in the tournament in extra innings (while scoring 1 run in those two losses), we will put an emphasis on the mental approach and understanding the small parts of execution of the game that will lead toward continuous improvement overall."

2025 Team Strengths:

  • Balanced lineup and depth - we have a number of returners and a good number of newcomers that will lead to daily competition for reps for even though we are such a small school. We play in a solid league and have increased our schedule again to prepare us for down the stretch.
