With the 2019 spring season right around the corner, PBR Ohio is eagerly anticipating bringing the Buckeye state the best high school coverage throughout the entire state. Starting in January, we began releasing team previews for teams across the state, leading into the Preseason All-State Teams as well as the Preseason State Rankings.

2019 Spring Team Preview: Anna Rockets

Team Name: Anna Rockets
Head Coach: Kristian Althauser
Division: III
2018 Record: 17-10
Conference Record: Shelby County League 10-2  (1st)
Returning Starters/Pitchers: 4/2

2019 Team Strengths:

  • Attitude
  • Work Ethic

Coach Outlook: "We've got a small senior class, but these kids have worked hard in the off season. They have been apart of a lot of good baseball teams, and this year team will be dependent on how well they lead."

PBR Outlook: Year in and year out Anna is talented and a team to be reckoned with. In 2019, the Rockets and coach Kristian Althauser should be competitive all year with hopes of improving all year and making a tourney run.
