With 2020 now in the past, PBR Ohio is eagerly anticipating bringing the Buckeye state the best 2021 high school coverage that can be found anywhere. Starting in January, we began releasing team previews for squads across the state. Ahead, we will have Preseason All-State Teams as well as the Preseason State Rankings coming your way.

2021 Spring Team Preview: Belpre Golden Eagles

Team Name: Belpre Golden Eagles
Head Coach: Terry Mullen
Division: III
2019 Record: 9-17
Returning Starters/Pitchers: 5

2021 Team Strengths:

  • We should have an excellent leadership group. With all seniors playing all four years. Sean Tabler is strong behind the plate and Matt Bayne catching behind him is right there with him defensively. We only have a couple of defensive spots to fill, mainly in the outfield if some players move to other positions. Excellent team speed. We really need to see our younger players to see if anyone can step in and help, that will really make our season!

Coach Outlook: "We should have a pretty good season, it will all depend on the quality of pitching we get."
