Doak Buttermore C / Granville, OH / 2022

Report: A catching prospect with a thick, athletic frame. Shows a good presence behind the plate, sitting in a mid-crouch position. Good, strong arm. Could use a little more legs in throw. At the plate, the right hander uses an athletic stance with more bend in knees. Goes with a leg lift for timing as hands move slightly back to launch. Offers a nice, level path through the zone with solid strength at contact. Line drive type guy.

Blade Barclay OF / 2B / John Glenn, OH / 2022

Report: Good size for the outfield. Could see him projecting at multiple positions around the field. At the plate, he uses a tall stance with the bat lying on the shoulder. Possesses a foot hover that covers ground with swing. Able to get hips open while keeping the bat back for good separation. Swings with a slight uppercut through the zone.

Colin Campbell INF / OF / John Glenn, OH / 2022

Report: A smaller, athletically built prospect.  Defensively, he saw innings both up the middle of the infield and the outfield. Looks to be an above average runner that covers ground at both spots. Ball skills lean towards outfield over infield presently.  At the plate, he shows fluid actions prior to launch.  Movement with the bat ear level w/big toe tap from back to front. Once he pulls the trigger he shows a nice, level swing through the zone. Squared the ball up in multiple game at bats.

Owen Smith UTIL / Philo, OH / 2022

Report: Smith is a strong, good size prospect that saw innings at short and outfield. Actions are athletic in the infield with above average lateral mobility. Arm plays as an above average tool at both spots. At the plate, he uses a quiet, tall stance with hands set away from body. Generates line drive pop off the bat with more to come as he learns to utilize his lower half more efficiently. Path is slightly downhill with feel for the barrel. Showed gap abilities in game.

Avery Parmer UTIL / Zanesville, OH / 2022

Report: Very projectable, long lever type frame. A good athlete that showed defensive versatility, playing multiple positions at an average to above average level.  At the plate, Parmer uses a relaxed stance with a slight open stance and bat on shoulder. Flows from back to front with a toe tap. Creates separation with hands and is able to get his legs to open up to get through the ball on plane. Should have much more juice to come as he adds strength to athletic frame.
