Cangelosi High School Fall League - Week 4

Varsity: RED vs. BLUE

Game 1:

RED – 3
BLUE – 3

For the BLUE team, Van Hollins (Cambridge), Noah Johnson (Hilliard Davidson) and Ryan Eatherton (Hilliard Darby) each had 2 hits. Nick Falter (Olentangy Liberty) pitched 4 strong innings, striking out 2 in the process. For the RED team, Carson Clark (Vandalia Butler) went 2 for 3, while catcher Austin Rice (Talawanda) was 1 for 3 with an RBI double.

Game 2:

BLUE – 0
RED – 9

Game 2 was dominated by the RED team. Caden Kirker (Thomas Worthington) went 3 for 4 with an RBI, while Carson Clark (Vandalia Butler) and Austin Rice (Talawanda) each collected 2 hits. Ethan Hetzel (Dublin Coffman) pitched a solid 5 innings, collecting 6 strikeouts. For the BLUE team, Nick Lingaman (Hillard Davidson) had 2 hits.

Varsity: BLUE vs. BLack

Game 1:

SILVER – 5
BLACK – 6

For the BLACK team, Jacob Trent (Houston) had a big game, collecting 2 hits and 2 RBIs. Kent Gordon (Kent Roosevelt) and David Silva (Ostego) each collected a hit in game 1 as well. Nick Cecil (Hilliard Darby) pitched 5 innings, collecting 5 strikeouts.


Game 2:

BLACK – 1
SILVER – 7

In a very one-sided game, Miami University commit Nate Stone (Granville) had a huge 3-run home run for the SILVER team. Ben Stevens (Canal Winchester) also collected a 2-RBI double to help seal the deal for SILVER.
