With 2022 now in the past, PBR Ohio is eagerly anticipating bringing the Buckeye state the best high school coverage that can be found anywhere in 2023. Starting in February, we began releasing team previews for squads across the state. Ahead, we will have Preseason All-State Teams as well as the Preseason State Rankings coming your way.

2023 Spring Team Preview: Defiance Bulldogs

Returning Starters/Pitchers: 5/4

Coach Outlook: "Starting pitching will be our number 1 strength. We have 15 wins back (Shaw, Jimenez, Kiessling) We also think we have some team speed back as well. We have 74 SB’s returning. We also have 4 of our top 5 hitters back from last year (Jimenez, Gomez, Kiessling, Shaw). Last year’s team is the best defensive team in history as they fielded at a .972 clip. We do have three infield starters back from that group. (Shaw, Jimenez, Kiessling)."
