With 2022 now in the past, PBR Ohio is eagerly anticipating bringing the Buckeye state the best high school coverage that can be found anywhere in 2023. Starting in February, we began releasing team previews for squads across the state. Ahead, we will have Preseason All-State Teams as well as the Preseason State Rankings coming your way.

2023 Spring Team Preview: Fairfield Indians

Team Name: Fairfield Indians
Head Coach: Tommy Begley
Division: I
2022 Record: 18-12
Returning Starters/Pitchers: 4/4

Coach Outlook: "With 16 seniors graduating from the 2022 District Championship squad, there are several familiar faces back for the Indians in 2023. Fairfield will rely on its pitching staff, while newcomers to the lineup become acclimated to GMC play. We have four hitters returning with multiple years of varsity experience that should provide offense as our first-year guys settle in. Defensively there are several positions up for grabs, as catching and outfield were hit hard by graduation. Overall, Fairfield should be a competitive squad in the talented GMC."
