2022 Spring Team Preview: Greeneview Rams

Coach Outlook: "This roster is young and has a lot of talent. They have to the potential to play very tight defense and be explosive at the plate."

Top Returning Players:

  • Keegan Phillips P/CF/1B, 2024, 5’11”/160 pounds, L/L. Returning starter and 1st team all conference 2020-21. One of the top rated pitcher in the 24 class. Last year he averaged 2.1 strikeouts per inning (86 k’s/41 inn. pitched) as a freshman, 1.02 ERA. He hit .303 for the year and batted lead off in 2020-21 season. Exit velo 89. 4.0 GPA. Summer Team, Cincy Flames 2024
  • Jarrod Mays 1B/P/C, 2023, 5’10”/215 pounds, R/R, Team Captain and 3rd year varsity. 1st team all conference 2020-21 Jarrod has been ranked in the state as a hitter. His 2020-21 stats were, .410 AVG. 8 2B, 22 RBI, 32 hits and .513 slugging. Exit velo 95. 3.9 GPA Summer team Midland Braves 17u.
  • Ben Myers OF/P, 2023, 6’5”/180 pounds, R/R. 2nd team all conference 2020-21. Exit velo 93. 4.4 GPA. Summer team Canes
  • Hunter Brooks C/P/OF, 2023, 5’”11/160 pounds, S/R. Honorable Mention in conference 2020-21. 3rd year varsity. Exit velo 92. 4.3 GPA. Summer team RSA National
  • Tanner Thornton 3B/P/OF, 6’0”/230 pounds, R/R. 2nd year varsity. Exit velo 93. 3.7 GPA
