With the 2018 spring season right around the corner, PBR Ohio is eagerly anticipating bringing the Buckeye state the best high school coverage throughout the entire state. Starting mid-January, we began releasing team previews for teams across the state, leading into the Preseason All-State Teams as well as the Preseason State Rankings.

2018 Spring Team Preview: Howland Tigers
Team Name: Howland Tigers
Head Coach: Justin Drapp
Division: II
2017 Record: 14-6
Conference Record: All American Conference, Red Tier, 9-1, 1st
Returning Starters/Pitchers: 7/4
Team Strengths:

Coach Outlook: “Last year we lost a couple key starters. We have a good group of seniors this year and a great young core that I am counting on to help us win. We return a 5-0 starter with a 1.44 ERA. Someone will have to step up to fill the number 2 slot. I look for our offense to improve due to the younger talent coming up.”
PBR Outlook: The Tigers and head coach Justin Drapp return seven starters and a starter, Dylan Keller, who was undefeated a year ago. Look for the Tigers to play a roll in Division II in 2018.
