PBR: Why did you choose Northwood?

Gipe:  I really enjoyed my campus experience and the school fit my major choice very well. I am excited about how the coaching staff want to push me to continue to develop my game. 

PBR: What other schools were you considering?

Gipe:  University of St Francis, Mount Vernon University

PBR: Where did the coaches first see you? How did your relationship develop with their coaching staff?

Gipe:  PBR Online Profile. Coach reached out to me after seeing my profile and showed interest, then during the campus visit I really connected well with the coaching staff and felt that they were excited to have me on campus.

PBR: What role do the coaches expect you to play your first year on campus?

Gipe:  Show up ready to work hard and make an impact.

PBR: Who do you play for in the summer and what was the most memorable experience from this summer?

Gipe:  Miami Valley Prospects 17U. Winning the Buckeye Elite in Columbus. We played 7 games in 3 days and really gelled as a team.

PBR: What were your stats for last spring season?

Gipe: Hit .422 with 38 hits, 31 RBI’s and 3 HR
