With the 2018 spring season right around the corner, PBR Ohio is eagerly anticipating bringing the Buckeye state the best high school coverage throughout the entire state. Starting mid-January, we began releasing team previews for teams across the state, leading into the Preseason All-State Teams as well as the Preseason State Rankings.

2018 Spring Team Preview: Lima Perry Commodores
Team Name: Lima Perry Commodores

Division: IV
2017 Record: 13-8
Conference Record: Northwest Central Conference, 8-6, 4th
Returning Starters/Pitchers: 9/6
Team Strengths:
- Seniors

- Pitching Depth
Coach Outlook: “We have all starters coming back from a 13-8 season. Five of those starters have been starters since they were freshman and are now seniors. I have a strong junior class that has improved over the summer giving me more depth than I had a year ago.”
PBR Outlook: A 13-8 season a year ago with everyone back, including five guys who have been starting since freshman year could mean good things for coach Hoersten and the Commodores.
