With the 2019 spring season right around the corner, PBR Ohio is eagerly anticipating bringing the Buckeye state the best high school coverage throughout the entire state. Starting in January, we began releasing team previews for teams across the state, leading into the Preseason All-State Teams as well as the Preseason State Rankings.

2019 Spring Team Preview: Lincolnview Lancers

Team Name: Lincolnview Lancers

Division: IV
2018 Record: 20-6
Conference Record: Northwest Conference, 7-1 (1st)
Returning Starters/Pitchers: 8/5

2019 Team Strengths:

  • Speed
  • Starting Pitching
  • Defense

Coach Outlook: "I am looking forward to getting the 2019 underway. Last season we set a school record for wins in a season with 20 and won the Northwest Conference. With 8 of our starters returning, I look for us to contend again for the Northwest Conference title and make a tournament run come May."

PBR Outlook: 2018 was a record breaking year for Lincolnview and 2019 could be even more magical for the Lancers. With eight starters returning, pitching that can compete with all in D-IV and a lineup that can produce runs, look for the Lancers and coach Eric Fishpaw to be a team to watch all year.
