We would like to thank all who participated in PBR Ohio's Northern Preseason Preview Showcase. This was a great opportunity for 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020 prospects to be put on college radars. Many players impressed during their individual workouts at the showcase. Below we have the complete statistical results from the event as well as the top performers across various different categories.

In the coming weeks, we will be adding and updating profiles for each of the players in attendance, including complete analysis and video.

Ohio Insider: 2016 Northern Preseason Preview - Sneak Peek

The Arms

+ 2017 RHP Richard Earich (Manchester HS) remains an intriguing prospect. The 6-foot-1, 175-pound righty still generates excellent arm-side run to his fastball, which mostly sat at 83 mph. His changeup showed similar action at 75-77 mph while his breaking ball showed 11/5 action (but, he tends to slow down his arm speed and cuffs it).

Defensive Standouts

+ 2017 OF Zac Sabol (Avon Lake HS) showed excellent footwork with the ability to maintain momentum through fielding position into his throws. Impressed with his arm strength by registering the top positional velocity of the day at 89 mph.
