Ohio Insider: Top Uncommitted Underclass Outfielders

With the Summer season coming to an end and the 2015-2016 high school sports season as well as fall ball getting underway, we would like to take a look at some of the top uncommitted prospects at each position.

Today we are gonna take a look at the top uncommitted underclass Outfielders in the Buckeye State. We will look to create a few top uncommitted lists each week, as you can see by our 2016 Rankings, 2017 Rankings and 2018 Rankings there are numerous talented prospects available.

Top Uncommitted Underclass Outfielders

Justyn Eichbaum, Tippecanoe
Ranked: 12th in Ohio’s 2017 class
Scouting Report: 5-foot-10, 185-pound athletic body frame. From the outfield he uses good footwork to approach ground balls, fielding the ball out front on his glove side, near his left foot. He transitions his footwork into a good crow hop, throwing with a clean arm action coming from an over the top angle. He reached a top velocity of 87 mph on his throws with some carry. Right-handed hitter starts from a balanced setup and uses an inward turn with his front foot as a timing mechanism. He has a fluid load with his hands moving back and swings with a mostly level bat path through the zone. He finishes high with a one-handed follow through.. Reached a top exit velocity of 89 mph and ran a 6.83 60-yard dash.
