Report: 6-6, 180-pound long/wirey frame. Pounds the zone. Bulldog mentality on the mound, definite competitor. Three-sport athlete (QB in football and basketball). A name to put on your radar. Definite follow!

Pitch Repertoire:

  • 98 pitches/69 Strikes = 70% strike 
  • Fastball: 83-86 mph, 87T. Gets on hitters well. Some arm-side run at times as well as some cut at times. He may throw both a 4-seam and 2-seam.  
  • Curveball: 67-69 mph. The breaker has 2/8 action with okay depth and some sharpness at times.
  • Changeup: 73-76 mph. Drops his arm a bit, but shows good arm speed and arm-side action on the baseball with the changeup.

Game Performance: 6 IP, 3 H, 1 R, 0 ER, 1 BB, 12 K

Ethan Rapp RHP / Eastwood, OH / 2023

Report: 6-0, 165-pounds with an athletic frame. Projectable on the mound, showed good arm speed with a high-¾ arm angle and a loose arm action. Athletic/clean delivery. Throws three pitches, with the fastball/curveball being the main two. Definite follow!

Pitch Repertoire:

  • 98 pitches/58 Strikes = 59% strike 
  • Fastball: 80-82 mph, 84T.  
  • Curveball: 68-71 mph. True 12/6 action with good depth and sharpness.
  • Changeup: 70-72 mph.

Game Performance: 4.2 IP, 3 H, 0 R, 2 BB, 11 K

Ottawa-Glandorf at Defiance 5/4/21

Report: 6-1, 180-pounds with an athletic frame. Quick arm action on the bump, which projects in more velo to come. A little funk to the delivery with the high leg kick and turn. Good three-pitch mix, being very confident in all three. The righty has been dominant all year, with this possibly being his best game so far. If you haven't taken a look at this arm, please do so. Definite follow!

Pitch Repertoire:

  • 99 pitches/62 Strikes = 63% strike 
  • Fastball: 83-86 mph, 87T.  
  • Curveball: 68-71 mph. 11/5 action with good depth and sharpness at times.
  • Changeup: 71-74 mph. Drops his arm a bit, but shows good arm speed and action on the baseball with the changeup.

Game Performance: 7 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 1 HBP, 11 K
