PBR Spotlight Game: New London vs #21 Milan Edison

New London got a 4-2 victory yesterday, taking advantage of five walks in the fifth inning; scoring three runs and breaking open a tight pitching duel yesterday at Edison High School.

Sophomore RHP Ryan Lane battled LHP Adam Wolf (Louisville, ranked 3rd in 2015 class) through four innings before a one out infield single, followed by three walks and pitch count chased Wolf from the game in the top of the fifth.

Two more walks followed, pushing the score to 4-1.

In the bottom of the inning, Lane pitched out of a two-out jam, getting clean-up hitter Wolf to ground out to second to end his day.

Edison scored its final run in the bottom of the seventh after a leadoff triple by pinch hitter Sam Stoll and a two out RBI single by sophomore first baseman Clay Cooper.
