Bloom Carroll, OH - Bloom Carroll took it to the Pickerington North Tigers by launching four home runs in a 13-3 run-rule win.

The Bulldogs sent out right handed pitcher Corey Stanley, who carried the team through much of their outstanding post-season run last year.  Stanley didn't miss a beat as he worked through a strong Pickerington North lineup.

For Bloom Carroll the scoring started early when left handed hitting sophomore, Seth Paszke smoked a 3-run bomb in the bottom of the 1st, giving the Bulldogs an early 3-0 lead.

In the second inning, highly sought after junior Roger Danison did some damage of his own going yard to left field putting the Bulldogs up 5-0.

Pickerington North was able to get on the board in the 3rd, when Northern Kentucky Commit Justin Childers stroked an RBI singled up the middle, making the score 5-1.

Unfortunately from there, the wheels started to fall off for the Pickerington North Tigers.

Leading the Bulldogs scoring was senior Scott Baker, who had an outstanding game at the plate. The right handed hitter blasted two home-runs over the right field wall; his last of which happened to be a game ending grand slam giving the Bulldogs a 13-3 run-rule win in the bottom of the 6th.

Today Bloom Carroll squares off in a rematch of the Division III State Championship Game vs. Wheelersburg in Chillcothe at V.A. Memorial Stadium.
