PBR: Why did you choose MVNU?

Arledge: MVNU was a great fit for me, both academically and athletically. They have a very successful baseball program and ultimately it’s a place I will enjoy waking up everyday.

PBR: What other schools were you considering?

Arledge: Alderson-Broaddus, Bellarmine, Ohio Dominican, Wooster and Ohio Northern.

PBR:  Where did Coach Veale first see you compete?

Arledge: Coach Veale first saw me compete my sophomore year in the Regional Semi-finals. 

PBR: What kind of role do the coaches expect you to play your first year on campus?
Arledge: The coaching staff expects me to work hard and compete for innings. 

PBR: What is your biggest strength as a player and how do you feel that you will help MVNU baseball?

Arledge: My biggest strength as a player is I will do whatever it takes to help the team. 

PBR: Who has had the biggest impact on you as a baseball player?

Arledge: My family has had the biggest impact on me as a player. My family has taken me to wherever I needed to be for a game or practice. I owe them a big thanks!

PBR:  Who do you play for in the summer and what was your most exciting experience?
Arledge: In the summer I play for Ohio Elite (Valentine). We had a great group of guys. It was a blast traveling and playing such great competition. 

PBR: What were your stats for this spring season at Unioto?

Arledge: My pitching stats last season were 4-3 record, 46 IP, 47 K's, 9 ER and 1.36 ERA. My hitting stats last season were .340 average, 12 RBI.

PBR: Who is the toughest hitter that you have faced in Ohio?

Arledge: The toughest hitter I have faced in Ohio is Alek Stonerock from Westfall.
