Junker has good-sized, athletic frame at 6-foot-3, 185 pounds. At the East Coast Professional Showcase tryouts, he sat 87-89 with some downhill action while his curveball showed decent rotation. He pounded the strike zone and mixed in his offspeed pitches often. He has an easy arm action out of a 3/4 slot. He can induce weak contact and also has a slider with big, lateral break.
