The Top Performances This Fall From Unsigned Seniors

#6

Andrew Blough, OF/IF, Smithville, 2015
5-foot-9, 160-pound average body frame. Was a top performer at the Northern Unsigned Senior Games. Currently ranked 186 in Ohio’s 2015 class.  From the outfield, he shows pretty good footwork playing through the baseball well, with good crow hop mechanics. He throws using a short arm action through an upper-¾ slot with 67 mph velocity. In the infield, he has a tendency to stop his feet with ground balls hit at him. He fields the ball out front with his hands nicely, throws through a ¾ slot using 71 mph velocity. Right-handed hitter starts from a balanced stance, uses a leg kick for added power to swing. Shows the ability to use the whole field nicely, and has strength in swing. Hit a double over the left fielder’s head and line out to the center fielder in a couple of his game at-bats. He reached a top exit velocity of 84 mph and ran a 7.27 60-yard dash.
