Today, we break down the top Class of 2016 prospects from PBR Ohio's Last Showcase of the Winter at Owens Community College in Northwest Ohio. Later this week, we will break down the Best of the Rest from the Class of 2016 for this event.

1. Damon Egnor, RHP, Paulding HS
The 6-foot-1, 195-pound righty uses long arm action from a high ¾ arm slot with a quick tempo. His fastball sat at 80-83 mph. He also showed two breaking balls. His curveball shows sharp 11/5 break at 67-69 mph and his slider shows similar movement at 71-75 mph (but he doesn’t show consistent command of the later). He also throws a split-finger fastball that shows good tumble at 65 mph.

2. Jimmy Crabtree, OF/RHP, Utica HS
Shows plenty of potential for future. The 6-foot, 175-pound prospect registered a 7.18 60-yard dash on a very slow track. At this point, he needs to improve his footwork in both the infield and outfield, but he reached a velocity of 82 mph across the infield and 84 mph from the outfield. At the plate, he shows some bat speed (87 mph exit velocity). He will only get better as he simplifies his swing and creates a consistent path through the zone. On the mound, the righty showed off a quick arm and a 81-83 mph fastball with run to it. His curveball shows 11/5 break at 61-63 mph. His changeup is thrown near fastball arm speed at 71 mph and shows similar run to the fastball. Lastly, he throws a 67-68 mph splitter with good diving movement.

3. Hunter Carson, RHP, Otsego HS
Sat at 80 mph and touched up to 81 mph with good run to his fastball. The 6-foot-1, 150-pound righty has a skinny, lanky frame. His curveball sat at 66-68 mph with 11/5 break and good depth. His changeup is thrown near fastball arm speed with good fade at 66-68 mph.
