With 2022 now in the past, PBR Ohio is eagerly anticipating bringing the Buckeye state the best high school coverage that can be found anywhere in 2023. Starting in February, we began releasing team previews for squads across the state. Ahead, we will have Preseason All-State Teams as well as the Preseason State Rankings coming your way.

2023 Spring Team Preview: Wooster Generals

Team Name: Wooster Generals
Head Coach: Steve Young
Division: I
2022 Record: 20-5
Returning Starters/Pitchers: 6/3

Coach Outlook: "Similar to last year, we will still be fairly young and most of our guys will be participating in their 2nd Varsity season. We'll need guys to make a jump in their 2nd year and contribute even more. Other guys will be going through it for the first time and we'll be looking for them to step up and produce when their numbers are called. We're excited to see what this team can evolve into over the course of the next few months."

  • Brady Bowen, 3B/RHP, 2025, 6'0", 160, R/R. Last Year Stats - .426 AVG, 17 RBI, 23 R, 13 BB, 12 SB. 35.2IP, 5-0, 2.15 ERA, 36K, 4 BB, 3 CG, 2 CGSO

  • Elisha Steiner - missed the majority of his Jr. season due to injury. Only pitched 1 inning all season.
