2025 OSSAA Power 25: Week Four
March 24, 2025
Following Spring Break, we take an updated look at the Power 25. While still on the front half of the season, this update features a few small changes due to results on the field as well as still some projection with the talent on the field. All scores and records are from the OSSAA Rankings page.
Our top four teams remain the same at the top with Edmond Memorial at the top, Owasso, Newcastle, and Bixby. All played their own competitive schedules both in-state or on a Spring Break road trip, respectively. At number five, Edmond Santa Fe moves up one spot following a 3-0 week.
The meat of the rankings see many teams remaining in the same spot or bump up nominally with winning weeks. The biggest jump that we saw comes from the Dale Pirates as they ran their record to 6-2 and a 3-1 week with plenty of punch at the top of the order with Easton Edmonson and Jackson Harris. Additionally, we have three teams that debut in our Power 25 due to a combination of strong starts and big weeks. Elk City checks in at number 22 as they ride an 8-0 start including wins over Washington and Marlow this week. At 23, Dewar makes their first appearance after a 14-0 start including a neutral site win over Marlow. Finally, at 24 is Community Christian as they debut on the back of a 3-0 week including impressive wins over Claremore and Duncan.
We see multiple teams continuing to matriculate their way up the ranks this week as they continue to stack wins. Two of those teams would be Bishop Kelley and Collinsville as each had impressive showings - Bishop Kelley over Bixby and Collinsville over Carl Albert, respecively. Duncan breaks into our Power 25 as they are off to a 7-1 start with their only loss coming in a back and forth game to ranked Carl Albert.
