Bret Schwartz & Max Fisher
Prep Baseball Oklahoma Staff

The Oklahoma high school baseball season kicks off on Feb. 24 for classes A and B and Mar. 1 for classes 2A-6A, opening day for regular season action under OSSAA regulations. Leading up to opening day, we’ll be publishing our team previews ahead of the 2025 spring season, touching on programs spanning all state classifications, counting down to the official Prep Baseball Oklahoma Preseason Power 25 Rankings.

Perennially, we’ve submitted a preseason questionnaire to high school head coaches across the entire state. Their responses have been flooding in and we’re using the detailed insight they’ve provided in our team-by-team preseason analysis.

Our 2025 preseason coverage continues today.

Brennen Galligan (2025 RHP) 5'11" 170 lbs. Has electric stuff and will need to be good for us to have a chance to compete. Connors St. commit

Key Players Lost:

Jett Hope (Oklahoma St.)

Drew Gilleland (NEO)

Cade Lewis (NEO)

Coach’s Insight: “We expect to be sound up and down the roster. We have a lot of guys who have played a lot of baseball and should be comfortable in any setting. Despite graduating some key contributors, we have talented younger players and strong leaders that we think will be able to step up and produce. Deficiencies will be exposed as we continue to play scrimmages and early on in the regular season. You have to expect some bumps in the road for inexperienced players, but as I said, we have strong leadership that I think will be able to usher those guys through the fire. I expect us to be ready to compete in the big moments.” – Dean Wilson, head coach
