2025 OSSAA Team Preview: Oklahoma Christian School Saints

Prep Baseball Oklahoma Staff

The Oklahoma high school baseball season kicks off on Feb. 24 for classes A and B and Mar. 1 for classes 2A-6A, opening day for regular season action under OSSAA regulations. Leading up to opening day, we’ll be publishing our team previews ahead of the 2025 spring season, touching on programs spanning all state classifications, counting down to the official Prep Baseball Oklahoma Preseason Power 25 Rankings.

Perennially, we’ve submitted a preseason questionnaire to high school head coaches across the entire state. Their responses have been flooding in and we’re using the detailed insight they’ve provided in our team-by-team preseason analysis.

Our 2025 preseason coverage continues today.

2025 SEASON OUTLOOK

No. of Returning Position Players: 7
No. of Returning Pitchers: All of our arms return this year.

Top Returners:

  • P/UTL Wyatt Fitzgerald (2025)
    • 6'3", 205 lbs, R/R (Undecided on where he will go next year but he will be our guy on the mound during district series and hit in the middle of our lineup.)
  • P/SS Spencer Schwandt (2025; NOC Enid)
    • 5'10", 183 lbs, R/R (Our leader and SS on the field. One of the toughest baseball players I have seen on the field and one of the best leaders as well. Will hit in the middle of games and come out of the bullpen.)
  • P/UTL Hudson Able (2026)
    • 6'4", 195 lbs, R/R (He did not get to pitch last year because he was coming off of arm injury but hit it well at the plate for us and we will have him on the mound for us this year as well)
  • P/2B Spencer Stevens (2026)
    • 6'0" 180 lbs, R/R (Lightning hands and can pick it in the infield. He will make a college really happy one day. He has grown over the summer and throughout the fall both physically and mentally)
  • P/UTL Will Martin (2027)
    • 6’, 182 lbs, L/R (This kid can really swing it. Hit in the middle of our lineup last year as a freshman and has pop to leave the yard and finds a lot of barrels)

Top Newcomers:

  • OF Jay Stefansky (2025)
    • 5’10, 178 lb, L/R (Jay is a transfer coming to our program. Has good bat speed and a good runner and will add some more pop and speed into our lineup.)

Key Players Lost:

Coach’s Insight: “Our team strength is going to be in our experience. We have a mature group of players who have been playing in our program for a few years now. We are going to rely on them and their leadership throughout the season. While returning all of our arms from last year and adding two back this year from injury our pitching staff will be a strength as well of our team. Our team will have some youth sprinkled in and making sure that youth does not show or let the game speed up on us. ” – Romus Cezar, head coach
