Prep Baseball Oklahoma Staff

The Oklahoma high school baseball season kicks off on Feb. 24 for classes A and B and Mar. 1 for classes 2A-6A, opening day for regular season action under OSSAA regulations. Leading up to opening day, we’ll be publishing our team previews ahead of the 2025 spring season, touching on programs spanning all state classifications, counting down to the official Prep Baseball Oklahoma Preseason Power 25 Rankings.

Perennially, we’ve submitted a preseason questionnaire to high school head coaches across the entire state. Their responses have been flooding in and we’re using the detailed insight they’ve provided in our team-by-team preseason analysis.

Our 2025 preseason coverage continues today.

Key Players Lost:

Coach’s Insight: “We feel like we have a very athletic bunch with several guys with above average speed. We have a few experienced bats returning to the lineup from last year, and we feel like we are pretty solid up the middle. We lost our 2 district starters last year (Jackson Farrell and Luke Williams who are both pitching at Arkansas this year). We are also looking for who will become our leaders this year after losing a lot of senior leadership last year.” – Larry Turner, head coach
