The Oklahoma high school baseball season kicks off on Feb. 24 for classes A and B and Mar. 1 for classes 2A-6A, opening day for regular season action under OSSAA regulations. Leading up to opening day, we’ll be publishing our team previews ahead of the 2025 spring season, touching on programs spanning all state classifications, counting down to the official Prep Baseball Oklahoma Preseason Power 25 Rankings.
Perennially, we’ve submitted a preseason questionnaire to high school head coaches across the entire state. Their responses have been flooding in and we’re using the detailed insight they’ve provided in our team-by-team preseason analysis.

Coach’s Insight: “Offensively we will have multiple tools, we have speed and power and will also hit for a high average. Defensively we have plus defenders at several key positions and if our younger players develop like we plan we will be very solid at every position with strong position arms and speed. We return a guy who threw district games every week and threw in the state semifinals, he will anchor a rotation of young pitchers all with plus stuff. If the young arms develop and perform like we know that they can we will be a very tough team. We will be a bit on the younger side. We had several young guys last year though and our young guys stepped up, we are looking for our guys to do the same thing this year. ” – Cody Pair, head coach
