OKC Preseason ID: Event Preview

Scott Hood
OK/MO/KS/ARK Assistant Scouting Director

On Sunday, January 29th, the PBR Oklahoma staff will travel to The Grind Training Center in OKC to host the inaugural OKC Preseason ID. This event, like all of our showcases, will serve as an opportunity for our staff to check in on players from this respective region of the state prior to the high school season commencing. All of our events serve as identifiers for future invite-only events as well, such as the Preseason All-State or PBR Future Games.

ROSTER PREVIEW

Though we’re familiar with a handful of names on this roster, there will be several players who are making their PBR debut on Sunday. We’re excited to see these new faces and add them to our expanding player database that spans across the state.

At first glance, however, there’s plenty of talent on this roster, starting with 2026 C/RHP Hunter Watson from Tuttle who committed to OU back in the fall.  There's plenty of uncommitted talent that will also be on display for coaches to keep an eye on such as 2026 OF/RHP Jackson Johnson from Tuttle, 2024 INF Dax McCaskill from Washington, 2024 C/INF Tanner McMurray from Bishop Kelley, and plenty more looking to show off their skills heading into their spring campaigns.
