JUCO Player Spotlight - Murray State JC: Joey Trevino

Scott Hood
Staff Writer

The currently uncommitted Sophomore started the season off slow but has really picked it up in the last couple of weeks.  In his last 13 games he is hitting .317 with 2 home runs and has also picked up 4 stolen bases.  He checks a lot of the boxes with the tools running a respectable 6.85 in the 60, possess a strong arm in the outfield with velocities up to 92 mph, and shows solid bat speed metrics according to the Blast Motion Sensor.  At a solid 6-foot-1 and 205-pounds, the corner outfielder projects to stay on the corners at the next level and has been showing as of late to be a potential contributor in a lineup.
