Wall also ended the game early with a walk-off two run home run in the sixth. Cody Mills lead the way offensively for Byng, going 2-for-3 with two doubles and five RBI’s.

CLAREMORE (5A) vs SHAWNEE (5A) 7-12 - State Tournament @ Yukon High School
Shawnee completed their undefeated season thanks to 12 runs on 19 hits from their offence and a complete game effort from Oklahoma State commit Jake Taylor. Taylor was solid early, only allowing two runs through the first six innings, but tired in the seventh, surrendering five more before he was able to get the final out.  Taylor was also key at the plate, going 4-for-5 with a home run, double, three RBI’s, and a run scored. Kansas signee Eli Davis and Arkansas Little Rock recruit Kade Self both had three hit days. Shawnee’s offence was potent and consistent, scoring in five of the seven innings. For Claremore, Dustin Weiesnbach lead the way out of the leadoff spot, going 3-for-4 with a run scored. Garrett Wood, Brady Kropp, and Bryson Vanover were also productive with two hit games.

Bierman allowed just two hits, no walks and struck out seven. Offensively, Dalton Smallwood was perfect, going 3-for-3 with a run scored.  The Patriots scored one in the first and three more in the fifth. Rose State commit Brett Rexroad and NOC Tonkawa commit Joey Pena both went 2-for-3 with two runs scored, an RBI, and a walk.  Though the game was tight the who way, a five run flurry in the top of the seventh for Mustang makes the score look more lopsided than the game actually was.  For Westmoore, Oklahoma commit Braxton Bohrofen lead the way offensively, going 2-for-4 with a run scored.
