Prep Baseball Report hosted the OK Preseason ID on December 12th at The World Baseball Outreach facility in Tulsa that consisted of 28 players from all over the state as well as three prospects from Kansas.  The event featured players amongst all the classes from multiple intriguing 2025's to a couple of skilled uncommitted 2022's.  Today we take a look at all the in-depth pitching reports with breakdowns on their mechanics, pitch velos and shapes, spin rates, and more.  You can see full event stats and details by clicking here.

Brody Houser, Bishop McGuinness (OK), 2022
 Positional Profile: C/SS
 Body: 6-4, 195-pounds. Physical and mature frame with present strength and good projection.
Delivery: Slow and methodical pace and rhythm with a rocker style footwork around the rubber.  Hands work up and down with the lower half working to a mid height balance point.   Tall and fall style motion down the slope with slight push off the rubber.   Low glove front side at release.  Works from the middle of the rubber and strides directionally down the center of the mound with good momentum headed towards the plate while maintaining upright posture.
Arm Action: RH. Over the top arm slot with a long and whippy arm action.
FB: T83, 82.1-83.0 mph. Mostly straight shape with good tilt to the bottom of the zone. T2113, 2072 average rpm.
CB: 68.9-73.4 mph. 11/5 shape with strong downward depth and tight action. T1975, 1903 average rpm.
CH: 73.2-73.2 mph. Heavy arm side fading action with good hand speed. T2065, 2065 average rpm.
 
 
 

Graham Hylton, Mustang  (OK), 2023
Positional Profile: C/1B
Body: 6-0, 165-pounds. Athletic build with present strength and room for added size in the future.
Delivery: Works exclusively out of the stretch position working to a high balance point.  Quick pace and rhythm to the delivery.  Full weight stack onto the back leg with a strong push off the rubber into a firm plant leg.  Strong hip and shoulder coil at the top of the delivery.  Hands get set low on the chest and break from the glove as the plant leg works down the slope.  Works from the far first base side of the rubber and strides directionally down the center of the mound with good momentum headed towards the plate.
Arm Action: RH. High 3/4 arm slot with a slightly cupped wrist and short arm action.
FB: T82.3, 77.2-82.3 mph. Strong riding life through the top of the zone and good tilt to the bottom. T2079, 1927 average rpm.
CB: 64.7-66.6 mph. Big 12/6 shape with a feel for spin and good downward depth. T2073, 1994 average rpm.
CH: 72.8-73.7 mph. Kills the spin efficiently with good arm side fading action and depth with fastball hand speed. T1551, 1501 average rpm.
 
 
 

Ethan Hedrick, Deer Creek (OK), 2024
Positional Profile: LHP/OF
Body: 5-11, 140-pounds. Lean and developing frame with room for added strength and size in the future.
Delivery: Step behind the rubber rocker style footwork with a fast paced rhythm and tempo.  Hands work up and down with the lower half and settle high around the ear.  Works to a high balance point with strong weight stack and slight stall out at the top of the delivery.  Works from the middle of the rubber and strides directionally down the center of the mound.  Tall and fall style motion down the mound with short push off the rubber with the back foot.  Hand pulls straight back out of the glove at the top of the delivery.
Arm Action: LH. 3/4 arm slot with a loose and whippy arm action.
FB: T81.5, 79.2-81.3 mph. Very heavy arm side run at times with good command to the arm side. T2177, 2102 average rpm.
SL: 75.4-75.4 mph. Short cutting action with some late depth to the bottom of the zone. T1943, 1943 average rpm.
CH: 70.8-73.9 mph. Mostly straight shape with some good downward depth and fade. T1863, 1769 average rpm.
 
 
 

Maddox Lawson, Mustang (OK), 2024
Positional Profile: 2B/RHP
Body: 5-9, 135-pounds. Lean and developing frame with room for added strength and size in the future.
Delivery: Simple and short footwork around the rubber with the front foot stepping in front to start the motion.  Works to a mid height balance point with a short coil in the posture.  Slow and methodical pace to start the delivery and then picks up pace at the top of the delivery.  Works from the middle of the rubber and strides directionally down the center of the mound.  Short weight stack onto the back leg but gets a good push off the rubber.  Maintains athleticism and balance throughout the delivery.
Arm Action: RH. High 3/4 arm slot with a loose and shorter arm action.
FB: T81.4, 78.4-80.9 mph. Strong spin metrics with good riding life through the zone and shows some arm side run at times. T2340, 2213 average rpm.
SL: 65.1-68.8 mph. Big sweeping action and 9/3 shape that covers a ton of ground horizontally through the zone. T2437, 2313 average rpm.
CH: 71.8-71.8 mph. Kills the spin efficiently with downward depth and mostly straight shape. T1686, 1686 average rpm.
 
 
 

Gary Moore, Norman (OK), 2023
Positional Profile: RHP/3B
Body: 6-1, 170-pounds. Athletic build with present strength and room for added size in the future.
Delivery: Short and simple footwork around the rubber working to an easy pivot foot.  Hands work up and down with the lower half and break from the glove at the top of the delivery.  Smooth and methodical pace to the delivery working to a mid height balance point.  Upright posture throughout the delivery with slight lean back into the heels at the top of the delivery.  High glove front side with slight shoulder tilt.  Works from the middle of the rubber and strides directionally down the center of the slope.  Gets a strong push off the rubber with the back foot.
Arm Action: RH. High 3/4 arm slot with a short and clean arm action.
FB: T81.1, 76.0-81.1 mph. Mostly straight shape with strong riding life through the zone and feel for command. T2017, 1921 average rpm.
CB: 63.1-66.1 mph. 11/5 shape with early break and some downward depth. T2073, 2041 average rpm.
SL: 65.7-74.2 mph. Shorter cutting action with tight spin and shape with command to the glove side. T2184, 2127 average rpm.
CH: 71.9-73.6 mph. Straight shape with slight downward fade with fastball hand speed. T2166, 1948 average rpm.
 
 
 

Ashton Hartwig, Deer Creek (OK), 2024
Positional Profile: OF/LHP
Body: 5-10, 170-pounds. Athletic build with room for added strength and size in the future.
Delivery: Short rocker style footwork around the rubber working to an easy pivot foot.  Hands settle high around the face and away from the body.  Works to a high balance point with a slow and methodical pace and tempo.  Upright posture with the chest and strong shoulder tilt at the top of the delivery.  High glove front side with strong pull back at release.  Works from the middle of the rubber and strides directionally down the center of the mound with a shorter stride.  Body rotates hard at the plant foot. 
Arm Action: LH. High 3/4 arm slot with a short and loose arm action.
FB: T80.8, 78.4-80.4 mph. Heavy arm side running action with good riding life through the zone.  Shows good tilt to the bottom of the zone. T1957, 1840 average rpm.
CB: 61.0-65.3 mph. 1/7 shape with good depth and loose spin. T1865, 1772 average rpm.
SL: 67.3-67.6 mph. Heavy sweeping action that also shows big depth and slurvy shape. T1992, 1956 average rpm.

 
 
 

Ethan Moore, Booker T. Washington (OK), 2023
Positional Profile: 1B/RHP
Body: 6-2, 225-pounds. Physical and mature frame with present strength and good projection.
Delivery: Rocker style footwork working to an easy pivot foot.  Works to a mid height balance point with a smooth tempo and pace.  Hands work down to the belt and break from the glove at the top of the delivery.  Presets weight into the back leg and gets a good push off the rubber.  Works from the middle of the rubber and strides directionally slightly towards the first base side of the mound with the front hip opening up early.  
Arm Action: RH. High 3/4 arm slot with a short arm action.
FB: T80.5, 77.0-80.0 mph. Mostly straight shape with slight tilt to the bottom of the zone. T2018, 1937 average rpm.
CB: 62.9-63.7 mph. 11/5 shape with early break and tight spin. T2175, 2104 average rpm.
CH: 67.4-71.0 mph. Kills the spin efficiently with heavy arm side fading action. T1574, 1507 average rpm.
 
 
 

Jared Mulvaney, Will Rogers  (OK), 2023
Positional Profile: LHP/1B
Body: 6-3, 176-pounds. Long limbed and projectable lean build with room for added strength and size in the future.
Delivery: Rocker style footwork around the rubber with the hands working up over the head.  Smooth rhythm and pace to the delivery that maintains balance and athleticism through release.  Hand works straight down out of the glove with a low glove front side.  Sinks into the back leg with a short push off the rubber.  Works from the middle of the rubber and strides directionally down the center of the mound with good length in the stride.  Strong rotation with the body around the plant foot.
Arm Action: LH. High 3/4 arm slot with a loose and whippy arm action.
FB: T79.9, 77.7-79.1 mph. Shows some arm side running action at times with good riding life through the zone. T2129, 1980 average rpm.
CB: 63.4-68.5 mph. Slurvy shape with big shape and depth to the bottom of the zone. T1934, 1861 average rpm.
SL: 61.1-66.3 mph. More of a sweeping shape than CB with loose spin and good depth. T1918, 1862 average rpm.

Positional Profile: RHP/SS
Body: 5-10, 182-pounds. Athletic build with room for added strength and size in the future.
Delivery: Short and simple footwork around the rubber working to an easy pivot foot.  Slow and methodical pace and tempo working to a high balance point.  Hands work up and down with the lower half and break from the glove as the stride foot works forward.  Slight coil in the hips and shoulders at the top of the delivery with the front shoulder angled down.  Tall and fall style motion down the slope with a short push off the rubber.  Works from the middle of the rubber and strides directionally down the center of the mound.
Arm Action: RH. 3/4 arm slot with a shorter arm action.
FB: T79.6, 75.3-78.6 mph. Heavy arm side running action and good sinking action to the bottom of the zone. T2098, 1957 average rpm.
CB: 68.2-68.9 mph. Slurvy shape with 11/5 action and good late break and depth. T2061, 2061 average rpm.
SL: 68.3-70.0 mph.
CH: 71.2-72.8 mph. Mostly straight shape with good downward depth and fastball hand speed. T1836, 1783 average rpm.
 
 
 

Conner Chambers, Bishop McGuinness (OK), 2025
Positional Profile: 3B/RHP
Body: 6-3, 190-pounds. Physical frame with present strength.
Delivery: Short and simple footwork around the rubber working to an easy pivot foot.  Slightly crouched posture throughout the delivery and works to a high balance point.  Slow and methodical rhythm and tempo to the delivery.  Short sink into the back leg with good push off the rubber with the back foot.  Works from the third base side of the rubber and strides directionally down the center of the mound.  Low glove front side with heavy shoulder tilt at the top of the delivery.
Arm Action: RH. High 3/4 arm slot with a short and loose arm action.
FB: T78.2, 76.1-78.1 mph. Very heavy arm side running action and slight sink to the bottom of the zone. T1981, 1842 average rpm.
CB: 62.4-64.0 mph. 11/5 shape with feel for spin and shape. Good command and shows some late action to the glove side at times. T1838, 1801 average rpm.
CH: 66.4-69.3 mph. Kills the spin efficiently with good downward depth and fastball hand speed. T1630, 1468 average rpm.
 
 
 

Spencer Biggerstaff, Edmond North (OK), 2023
Positional Profile: OF/LHP
Body: 5-10, 140-pounds. Lean and developing frame with room for added strength and size in the future.
Delivery: Quick rocker style footwork with a very fast pace and tempo.  Works to a high balance point with a quick weight stack onto the back leg.  Hands work up and down with the lower half and break from the glove at the top of the delivery.  High front elbow with a low glove.  Works from the middle of the rubber and strides directionally slightly towards the first base side of the mound creating tough angles on hitters.  Tall and fall style motion down the slope into a firm plant leg. 
Arm Action: LH. High 3/4 arm slot with a short and loose arm action.
FB: T78.1, 75.3-78.1 mph. Good arm side running action and sink to the bottom of the zone. T1782, 1611 average rpm.
SL: 67.3-68.9 mph. Tight shape with good late depth to the bottom of the zone.  Makings of a solid pitch in the future. T2055, 1998 average rpm.
CH: 71.0-72.9 mph. Very straight shape with fastball hand speed and good sell. T1546, 1490 average rpm.

Body: 5-11, 140-pounds. Lean and developing frame with room for added strength and size in the future.
Delivery: Unique rocker style footwork around the rubber with the pivot foot stepping first into position.  Works to a mid height balance point with a slow and methodical pace and rhythm.  Hand breaks from the glove as the plant leg works down the slope.  Tall and fall style motion down the mound.  Works from the middle of the rubber and strides directionally down the center of the mound with a shorter stride and good momentum headed towards the target.  Maintains balance and athleticism throughout the entirety of the delivery.
Arm Action: LH. High 3/4 arm slot with a loose arm action.
FB: T77.9, 75.0-77.9 mph. Very strong arm side running action with good life through the zone. T2052, 1894 average rpm.
CB: 63.2-64.8 mph. Short and early break with some downward depth.

Delivery: Quick rocker style footwork around the rubber working to an easy pivot foot.  Heavy shoulder and hip coil at the top of the delivery.  Works to a high balance point with a quick tempo and pace.  Hands settle off the back shoulder and break from the glove at the top of the delivery.  Slight sink into the lower half with a short push off the rubber.  Works from the middle of the rubber and strides directionally slightly closed.  Lands onto a slightly bent plant leg with a heavy shoulder lean at release working almost parallel to the ground.
Arm Action: RH. High 3/4 arm slot with a loose and whippy arm action.
FB: T77.4, 75.6-76.8 mph. Heavy arm side running action with good command to the arm side. T2179, 2063 average rpm.
CB: 62.0-64.1 mph. Big shape and depth with feel for spin.  Gets good late depth at times. T2319, 2222 average rpm.

Body: 6-2, 160-pounds. Long limbed and projectable lean build with room for added strength and size in the future.
Delivery: Short and simple footwork around the rubber working to an easy pivot foot.  Slow and methodical pace up until the top of the balance point.   Works to a low balance point and quick weight stack onto the back leg.  Will work from multiple arm angles and changes posture effectively to handle all the slots.  Works from the middle of the rubber and strides directionally down the center of the mound when the arm works in the higher slot and strides slightly closed when the arm slot works lower.
Arm Action: RH. Multiple slots with a high 3/4 arm slot with a loose arm action and will also show a side arm slot with whippy hand path.
FB: T77.1, 73.7-76.2 mph. Very strong arm side running action with command to the arm side of the plate. T2149, 2041 average rpm.
CB: 66.3-66.8 mph. Sweeping shape with heavy horizontal break and tight spin. T2325, 2242 average rpm.
SL: 67.8-70.4 mph. Tighter shape with some downward depth and feel for spin. T2140, 2126 average rpm.
CH: 66.2-70.3 mph. Kills the spin efficiently with good depth and arm side fading action. T1459, 1398 average rpm.

Body: 6-1, 195-pounds. Athletic build with present strength.
Delivery: Big rocker style footwork around the rubber with the pivot foot moving around the rubber.  Slow and methodical pace and tempo to the delivery and works to a high balance point.  Hands work up on the chest and break from the glove at the top of the delivery.  Works from the middle of the rubber and strides directionally down the center of the mound.  Tall and fall style motion down the mound with a short push off the rubber.  Upright posture and maintains it throughout the delivery.
Arm Action: LH. High 3/4 arm slot with a long and clean arm action.
FB: T75.1, 72.9-74.3 mph. Mostly straight shape with good spin and riding life through the zone. T2328, 2237 average rpm.
SL: 63.9-64.5 mph. Heavy horizontal break with tight spin and feel for shape. T2355, 2243 average rpm.

Positional Profile: RHP/C
Body: 5-8, 136-pounds. Lean and developing frame with room for added strength and size in the future.
Delivery: Rocker style delivery working to an easy pivot foot.  Works to a high balance point and at time will show heavy shoulder tilt.  Has different rhythms and pace to the delivery from a slow and methodical pace with the hands working above the head to a step through quick pitch pace.  Works from the middle of the rubber and strides directionally down the center of the mound into a firm plant leg.
Arm Action: RH. Over the top arm slot with a loose arm action.
FB: T71.4, 69.5-70.7 mph. Mostly straight shape with good life through the zone. T1940, 1830 average rpm.
CB: 62.6-64.2 mph. Big sweeping action with loose spin and big horizontal action. T1983, 1903 average rpm.
CH: 58.8-58.8 mph. Kills the spin efficiently with good downward fading action. T1153, 1153 average rpm.
