OK Rankings Update 2025

Andy Urban
OK/MO/KS & Creekside Scouting Supervisor

This is our first rankings update to the 2025 class since our initial rankings this fall. After seeing more players in the class and getting extra looks at the top prospects, it is obvious that this will be another strong class for the Sooner state with plenty of nationally ranked prospects. Below, we take an in-depth look at the top 3, top risers, and top newcomers in the class.

Complete 75 Player Rankings Here

Top 3

Ethan Holliday 3B / Stillwater, OK / 2025

Ethan Holliday has a legitimate chance to be a true five tool player. Already doing damage in the middle of one of the most potent offenses in the state, Holliday shows advanced feel and power from the left-handed batters box. At third, Holiday shows clean hands and feet with a strong arm across the diamond. The Oklahoma State commit has had a hot start to the spring which will see him move up in the national rankings.

Cash Williams C / RHP / Choctaw , OK / 2025

Another freshman making noise for the varsity on a top team in the state is athlete Cash Williams. A primary catcher with advanced feel and arm strength behind the dish, Williams can play any position on the field with a high aptitude. The right-handed hitter has already launched four bombs this spring.

Darren Ledford C / Oktaha, OK / 2025

Ledford remains in the top 3 after getting some quality reps in the middle of the Oktaha varsity lineup.  Ledford is one of the more physical hitters in the class especially from the left side of the plate.  What catches your eye most when you watch Ledford play is his ability behind the plate with plus receiving and blocking skills.  With his size and physicality, it is easy to see the projection and should continue to put up big numbers for Oktaha in the coming years.

Top Risers

Layton Bryan SS / RHP / Chickasha, OK / 2025

Bryan is an advanced athlete who keeps getting better every time we see him and his showing at the OK Preseason All-State was not exception. Bryan ripped off a 7.11 60, 83 BP exit velo, and one of the top infield velos of the class in the country at 84 mph.  Offensively, the left-handed hitter showed the ability to spray the ball on a line to all fields. On the mound, the right hander threw strikes up to 82 mph. Bryan is up over 10 spots.

Gaige Albright LHP / OF / Choctaw, OK / 2025

The 5-foot-11, 140-pound left-hander is up nearly 40 spots after making a big velo jump to 78 mph. Albright shows a clean delivery and a fast arm that will continue to add velo as Albright continues to develop physically.

Brandon Green RHP / C / Edmond North, OK / 2025

The pitcher/catcher two-way combo saw each and every measurable improve at the OK Preseason All-State pushing him up nearly 10 spots. A strike thrower on the mound and able to keep his pop times in a tight window, Green's skill set should allow him to have plenty of success this spring.

Top Newcomers

Bryson Mitchell OF / RHP / Stillwater , OK / 2025

Mitchell makes his first appearance in the rankings in the top 20 due to an impressive all around performance at the OK Preseason All-State. Posting a 7.11 60 and 89 mph exit velo, Mitchell is obviously a quick twitch athlete. On the mound, the right-hander was up to 81 on the mound and flashed an elite curveball that scored off the charts on hammer and sweep pitch scores.

Logan McGuire C / RHP / Owasso, OK / 2025

McGuire flashed a sub 2.0 pop time and 91 exit velo at the OK Preseason All-State. At 5-foot-11, 180-pounds McGuire is also one of the most physically advanced players in the state. McGuire also shows off his arm strength on the mound, up to 81 with carry through the zone.

Conner Chambers 3B / RHP / Bishop McGuinness, OK / 2025

At 6-foot-3, 190-pounds, Chambers is one of the most projectable athletes in the class. The right-hander's projection is not only bases on his frame, but the looseness and easiness of his arm action which will allow for much more velo to come without question.
