Check out the seven LHPs from the event, here.

David Dean LHP / OF / Owasso, OK / 2021

Rising junior southpaw with room to add additional strength to his 6-foot-3, 175-pound frame. Initiates delivery with sideways rocker step into a chest high knee lift. Leads out of balance point with his front hip and lands slightly across his body. Standard tempo on takeaway, but arm speed picks up out front. Arm is loose, generating a fastball at 83-85 with occasional arm-side run. Showed some feel for dropping his 69-70 curveball in the zone, although it could lag arm-side when he wasn’t aggressive with it.

Brance Garrett LHP / OF / Yukon , OK / 2023

A long legged and durable 5-foot-10 durable, 180-pound frame. On the mound, the left-hander works from an up tempo delivery with a high leg kick before gliding down the mound with an abbreviated and closed stride, finishing towards the dish. Arm action is long, smooth, and controlled in the back before coming through a high-¾ slot with some arm quickness. Fastball keeps its plane at 73-75 mph, mostly strikes. Curveball shows big rolling action with 1/7 shape at 58-61 mph, few strikes. Changeup shows advanced fade at 61-62 mph thrown with full arm speed.

Joe Grantham LHP / OF / Heritage Hall, OK / 2021

A physically impressive 6-foot-2, 190-pound muscular frame. On the mound, the left-hander works from an average tempo delivery with a high up, down, and out leg kick before striding down the mound with quality leg drive and finishing towards the dish. Arm action is long and loose getting high in the back early before coming through a ¾ slot. Fastball shows consistent arm-side run at 78-81mph, mostly strikes. Slider shows slurvy 2/4 shape at 66-68, some strikes. Changeup shows some fade with full arm speed at 74-76 mph.

Hayden Key LHP / OF / Epic Charter School, OK / 2020

A lean and athletic 5-foot-11, 175-pound lean frame with lots of room to add size and strength. On the mound, the left-hander works from a simple, smooth, and average tempo delivery with a high leg kick before striding slightly closed and finishing to the third base side. Arm action is long in the back before pulling through a ¾ slot. Fastball was down from the 84 mph we have seen out of him prior, sitting 77-78 mph with some arm-side run, mostly strikes. Slider shows late shape with tight spin and 1/7 shape 72-73 mph, some strikes. Changup keeps its plane at 69-70 mph, some strikes.

Bodie Nasalroad LHP / 1B / Edmond North , OK / 2021

A lean and projectable 5-foot-9, 145-pound with lots of room to add lots of size and strength. On the mound, the left-hander works from an average tempo delivery with rhythm and a high leg kick before gliding down the mound and finishing towards the dish. Arm action has moderate length in the back with a pause at the bottom of this arm stroke before coming through a high-¾ slot. Fastball shows some arm-side run at 78-80 mph, mostly strikes. Slider shows 1/7 action with some late depth at 71-73 mph, all strikes. Changeup shows some fade at 68-70, mostly strikes. Curveball shows 1/7 shape with bigger rolling action at 64-65 mph, some strikes.

Weston Rouse LHP / 1B / Fort Gibson , OK / 2023

A 6-foot-3, 193-pound physically advanced frame with long limbs. On the mound, the left-hander works from a deliberate delivery with some rhythm and a high leg kick before striding down the mound and finishing to the third base side. Arm action is long in the back with a hard stab before coming through a high-¾ slot. Fastball keeps its plane at 72-74 mph, mostly strikes. Curveball shows 1/7 shape at 60-62 mph, still developing. Changeup shows excellent fade at 66-67 mph.

Tatum Watie LHP / OF / Sand Springs, OK / 2020
