OK Summer Open Leaderboard Curveball Metrics: (Trackman Pitchers)

Prep Baseball Report Oklahoma hosted the OK Summer Open event at the University of Central Oklahoma on July 13th. The event was comprised of players all across the state and from players coming from the 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025 classes. There were some players that opened some eyes with their performances from this event and today we take an in-depth look at the leaders and their curveballs captured by Trackman.

The firmest curveball from the event belonged to 2022 Conner Burch at 72.38 mph from the left side. Kaden Spray had the firmest curveball in the 2023 class at 71.13 mph with Renner Starns posting the fastest curveball at 66.77 mph in the 24 class and Brian Justice posting the firmest curveball in the 2025 class at 64.81 mph.

Isaac Worden posted the top spin rate with the curveball with an eye popping 2657 RPM from the left side in the 2025 class. Kenney Fabian topped the charts in the 22 class at 2474 RPM with Gage Geiger coming in at 2331 RPM in the 2024 class and Drake Jones leading the way in the 2023 class at 2224 RPM.

Isaac Worden also posted the top horizontal break with the curveball with 25.1 inches of east/west action. Kenney Fabian spun it to 19.7 inches of horizontal break leading the way in the 2022 class. Kenstan Curry had the most horizontal break in the 2024 class at 15.5 inches of break with Jacob Williams posting the most horizontal break in the 2023 class at 14.8 inches.

The highest induced vertical break from the event came from Corbin Lewellen out of the 2023 class at 25.5 inches of vertical depth. Kenstan Curry dropped in the most vertical break with the curveball in the 2024 class at 16.9 inches with Brian Justice leading the way in the 2025 class at 15.3 inches and Jayden Minter posting the top vertical break in the 2022 class at 13.9 inches.

Both Isaac Worden and Joey McLaughlin posted the highest Bauer Units from the event at 41 both in coming from the 2025 class. Kenny Fabian from the 22 class and Gage Geiger in the 2024 class both posted 35 Bauer Units and Corbin Lewellen leading the way in the 2023 class at 32 Bauer Units.
