OK Underclassman Leaderboard

PBR covered the very talented OK Underclassman Showcase on June 8th at Oklahoma State University. The event featured players from the 2023, 2024, and 2025 graduating classes. The players listed below are only the players from the event that chose to upgrade to a PBR profile. See all of the numbers from the event, here.

The event featured multiple fast twitch athletes as there were 17 sub 4.6 home to first times, with 2023 Jordan Medford leading all players with a blazing 4.3 home to first.  2023 Blake Lamb earned the second fastest home to first of the day at 4.48.

Off of the tee, there were 27 exit velos at 85+, and 6 at 90+. 2024 grad Jonnie Gifford led all swingers, boasting a 93 mph exit velo off the tee. The second highest exit velo of the day belonged to 2024 Oklahoma State commit Brex Caldwell, who hit 92 mph off the tee.

Defensively, there were some big arms from the infield and outfield. 2023 Cooper Moore impressed as he led all infielders at 90 mph, and in the outfield, it was 2023 CJ Freeland also leading the way at 90. Pryce Bender continued to have a big day as he threw 84 mph across the diamond, along with his 90 mph exit velo off the tee.

Behind the dish, there was an abundance of talent with 2023 Cooper Moore continuing to display his unique abilities across multiple positions.  Moore showed the biggest arm at 82 from the crouch and pop times as low as 1.81. 2023 Brody Briggs was close behind as he threw 78 to second base and had the second fastest pop time of the event at 1.87, only behind Moore. An eye popping ten catchers posted sub 2.0 pop times. 

On the mound, 2024 Braylon Brooks was electric at 84-89 while showing continued command in the zone. 2023 William Brady Hamilton was up to 88, while 2023 Alex Conover, and several others, including Cooper Moore, touched 87. In total, there were ten arms that were 85 plus.
